Ryan Oakley is a 2016 graduate of Wake Forest University with a B.A. in Studio Art and Spanish. She is an illustrator and comic book artist who has worked with Lifetime TV, Adobe, and Dotdash Meredith, and her work includes a Fortnite loading screen in Chapter 7, Season 2. Recently, her many Jeff the Land Shark variants and X-Men designs have been featured across social media. She has published short comics in the anthologies Won’t Back Down, When I Was Young, Witching Season, and Midnight Mystics. In 2026, she self-published Interrupted, a collection of zines and a short comic.
